Imagine 4D continues to expand its portfolio of Digital Twin solutions through its Digital Twin Framework, an integrated software suite designed to support a broad range of digital applications. At CANSEC 2026 the company will demonstrate their vision for a Digital Twin focussed sustainment model for the Canadian Armed Forces.
Beyond high-fidelity 3D environments generated from engineering data, the framework enables the integration of simulation models, real-time data, enterprise applications, and connectivity to the real asset. This approach has been deployed with a range of stakeholders, including naval and land platform OEMs, automation system providers, defense sustainment organizations, and operators.
The platform is designed to support a distributed sustainment model involving CAF, DND, Canadian industry, and OEM partners. It provides a unified, data-centric environment where stakeholders can securely access information, collaborate, and support coordinated decision-making. Through its virtual asset, detailed to the component level, it enables a shared operational view across multiple sites, contributing to improved governance, transparency, and responsiveness.
The framework integrates heterogeneous data sources – including Platform Management Systems, ERP/MPR applications (e.g. DRMIS), logistics platforms, engineering databases, and training systems – into a cohesive digital environment. It also supports advanced analytics and dashboards, including real-time performance monitoring, anomaly detection, and predictive insights, to inform decision-making and contribute to operational readiness.
“Our Digital Twin Framework is purpose-built to empower a domestically anchored sustainment model,” said George Karam, CEO of Imagine 4D. “Whether on land, in air or at sea, we are working to provide CAF with the sovereign tools needed to improve sustainment and operational readiness.”
