    Where our Expertise Originates

    Fernando Petruzziello
    Co-founder and CEO
    Three professional stages, one vision.

“Let’s see beyond what is currently available”, says Fernando Petruzziello, co-founder and CEO of Imagine 4D. Fernando is a visionary. In 1999, his career began as a proud electrical design engineering researcher at Concordia University’s Fluid Power and Control Research Laboratory, which produced the first flight simulator using microprocessor technology. After his time at Concordia, Fernando co-founded and was CEO of Mechtronix Inc., an innovative manufacturer of full-flight simulators and provider of pilot training services. Fernando was named the Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of the Year” in 2006. In 2013, Textron Inc (NYSE: TXT) acquired Mechtronix.

During his time at Mechtronix, Fernando was intrigued by the emergence of virtual reality technology. He had a vision for this technology and knew he could improve the user experience. In 2015, he pursued his vision and co-founded Imagine 4D, a company focused on delivering the most impactful and realistic virtual simulation experience possible. In 2018, Imagine 4D’s flagship product was launched: Station IX, powered by Reflected Reality™, a proprietary technology which allows users to experience 3D virtual worlds in a collaborative, headset-free environment. As of 2019, Imagine 4D designs and creates Digital Twin solutions. We aim to bridge physical and virtual worlds for optimal asset management, to minimize risks and help plan for the future.
