L3HM sought a platform that combined high-fidelity visualization with an integrated software suite—functioning like an operating system—to support and manage application development across its Marine, Nuclear, and Space business segments.
L3HM was first introduced to this technology during a collaboration with Imagine 4D on a project deploying Station IX® as an Immersive Classroom for a nuclear power plant.
Through this project, L3HM experienced the unique capabilities of Station IX®, including:
Imagine 4D ensured the seamless integration of all desired content— ranging from 3D models, to Digital Twin Applications and Training Scenarios.
Additionally, L3HM personnel received training on operating and maintaining the Station IX®, along with guidance on integrating new content using the provided Software Development Kit (SDK), ensuring maximum flexibility and long-term usability.
The deployment of this solution highlights the versatility of Station IX®, supporting a range of use cases—from immersive classroom and demonstration environment to integration and testing platform. It seamlessly blends 3D immersive visualization with engineering data and simulation models for more impactful applications.
Station IX® offers a truly immersive, multi-user experience—ideal for instructors, trainees, operators, and observers alike. Available in three sizes to suit various needs, it also supports additional remote or local users via VR devices.
